They are made from 100% natural, renewable sawdust and wood shavings, compressed without any chemicals or binders. Triple dust-extracted, they offer high calorific value (around 4.6-5.0 kWh/kg), minimal ash (under 0.7%), and moisture below 10% for clean, consistent burns. With a uniform 6mm diameter, they are ideal for modern pellet stoves, boilers and biomass heating systems.

Are Platinum Plus Wood Pellets ENplus A1 Certified?

Yes. Platinum Plus Wood Pellets are ENplus A1 certified, the highest European quality standard for wood pellets, helping to ensure low ash, low moisture, high heat output, and consistent performance. They are also BSL certified, making them suitable for UK schemes such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and compliant with clean air zone requirements.

How Should I Store My Wood Pellets?

Pellets are highly sensitive to moisture, so to prevent swelling or crumbling, store them in a dry, well-ventilated area and keep them off the ground and away from damp surfaces. For best results, use indoor storage or a covered outdoor space, and make sure the bags stay sealed and protected from humidity. Stored correctly and kept completely dry, wood pellets can last 12–18 months without losing quality.
