The Ready to Burn certification is a UK government-backed initiative aimed at promoting cleaner, more environmentally friendly wood fuels for home use. It ensures that firewood and briquettes sold in smaller quantities meets strict moisture content and environmental standards.
How should I store my firewood?
For best results, store your kiln dried firewood in a well ventilated, sheltered area – such as a log store, garage or shed – with the logs raised off the ground. Keep the crate or stack protected from direct moisture while allowing good airflow so the wood stays dry and in top burning condition.
How does delivery work at White Horse Energy?
We provide fast, reliable UK-wide delivery on all firewood, briquettes, and wood pellets. Free delivery on all non-surcharged orders. Flexible delivery: you can choose a delivery date at checkout. Next-day shipping is available for a small fee. Your wood fuel will arrive on a pallet via tail-lift lorry and pallet truck, usually within 2–5 working days. You don’t need to be home for delivery, but please ensure your delivery location is flat, hard-standing, and accessible.
