Briquettes & heat logs should be stored indoors, in dry conditions away from ambient moisture, leaking or dripping water for the best results. If kept in a garage or similar space, they should in any event be kept away from moisture and off the floor. They are also not suitable to be stored in a greenhouse, utility room, or bathroom due to the humidity
We wrap every firewood crate with a thin plastic sheet to make sure that they get to you as dry as they left us. Following delivery you really do want to store your logs somewhere out of the rain as quickly as possible. There’s nothing so heart-breaking than seeing beautifully kiln dried logs being subjected to the English winter drizzle.
