Our Platinum Plus & Firepower pellets are incredibly easy to ignite. With one single firelighter added to your pellet tray & its as easy as that. Once the pellets have fully caught the pellets in the pellet chamber will be glowing bright red. To further enhance the heat created we kept the hopper lid ajar to maximise airflow through your oven.
We recommend keeping your oven door shut, to allow for your pizza stone to heat up, with will only take 5 to 10 minutes. This also allows you the perfect amount of prep time. Adding the dough to the peel, adorning your pizza with its toppings & maybe a little drizzle of oil.
Slide your pizza in the oven nice & quickly ensuring you keep as much heat in the oven a possible. Your oven should be at such a high temperature, the radiant heat will be circulation perfectly around the oven walls, celling & most importantly the pizza stone. If you've gone for a traditional thin pizza base your cooking time will be roughly 60 seconds. If you like it on the crispier side, spin it & cook for an additional 25 seconds.
