NEW - Ecoblaze Hessian Firewood Bag
In need of a substantial firewood supply, but want it ASAP? White Horse Energy has a solution. We're expanding the Ecoblaze range with our brand-new product - the Ecoblaze Hessian Firewood Bag.
Hardwood logs are packed into functional yet well designed jute bags that can be stored outside or inside. When you want an emergency top up that lasts you several days and a box of firewood isn’t quite enough, the addition of this 60-litre bagged firewood product will cater to your wood burning needs all year round.
What’s In The Sack?
Ecoblaze Hessian Firewood bags contain kiln dried hardwood logs and are stitched at the top. Excess material is left at the top for convenience when handling the bags. A 60-litre sack is hand packed with logs that are split, cut to 25cm lengths and dried to moisture levels below 20%. All Ecoblaze firewood receives an extra day in the kiln to ensure you’re getting excellent quality dry fuel that creates the best burn conditions.
You can expect the same high standard of product quality that you’d receive in a crate or Ecoblaze box, to create strong bright flames and high heat output in your appliance. the Ecoblaze hessian firewood sack is also labelled as “Ready to Burn” under Woodsure’s scheme, which guarantees its suitability for immediate use, burning with high efficiency while producing minimal smoke.
Our Ecoblaze Bag Design
Picture your idyllic thatched cottage nestled between the hills and a stack of logs arranged by your wide Inglenook fireplace – those are the vibes we’re trying to emulate with our packaging. The hessian bag’s rustic look matches the Cotswold–countryside theme running through our rebranded Ecoblaze range, to show an appreciation for, and to represent, the heart of the Cotswolds in which our offices are based. With the logo in a deep red and the naturally brown fabric, we're really going for that simple yet ‘hygge’ feel.
The Lifecycle Of An Ecoblaze Hessian Firewood Bag?
Much like our firewood, we put a lot of care into our packaging. We’ve chosen to use natural materials in our firewood sacks in a bid to mirror the eco-friendliness of the cardboard packaging in our boxed Ecoblaze range. Hessian is made of vegetable fibres that are woven together to create a durable fabric. This sturdy material supports the weight of the logs - the sacks are easy to open, reclose and move about, all while staying in excellent condition. Hessian bags offer more protection than netted bags while being recyclable and biodegradable, in turn encouraging less waste and more ways to repurpose packaging after its first use.
Storing Your Hessian Firewood Bag
These firewood bags will work well for smaller storage spaces either indoors or outdoors. When storing Hessian firewood bags outdoors, store them above ground with a protective waterproof cover, as the firewood sacks contain small holes to make them breathable. This is an important feature of the bags, as it means that your logs will get plenty of airflow to continue drying out. To emphasise that old-cottage aesthetic, why not place a bag next to your fireplace and let the design speak for itself? You won’t need to stack or arrange any logs by doing this, which will then shorten the journey between placing your order and basking in the heat radiating off your log burner.
